APWC, in collaboration with the Bureau of Land Management, Provolt Volunteer Team, and local partners, is excited to present See Our Salmon & Friends: a free, family-friendly celebration of our native wildlife!

This event will feature activities for everyone! Kids (and kids at heart) can play games, complete a passport challenge, browse natural artifacts, enter a giant salmon tent, and get their hands dirty in a dynamic erosion table. Other activities will include salmon-spotting, tours of recent restoration projects, macroinvertebrate sampling, hands-on activities with local organizations and non-profits, and so much more.

We are also excited to be hosting a series of short talks with experts! The schedule is shown below:

11:30 – Salmon with Monica Magdaleno, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife

12:00 – Beavers with Jakob Shockey, Project Beaver

12:30 – Aquatic Restoration Projects with Luke Wimmer, APWC

1:00 – Anadramous Fish Conservation with Trout Unlimited

1:30 – Provolt Recreation Site with Caleb Galloway, APWC (to be followed by a tour)
