Applegate After Dark

Applegate After Dark is a collaborative group of community members, local organizations, and partners united by a shared passion for the night sky. Meeting monthly, the group is actively involved in collecting dark sky data throughout the Applegate Valley, organizing public events that celebrate nighttime ecology, and participating in outreach activities to raise awareness about light pollution. Through education and engagement, Applegate After Dark highlights how preserving natural darkness supports wildlife, enhances human well-being, and protects the beauty of our star-filled skies.
