Celebrate the Artful Enhancements at Cantrall Buckley Park

Celebrate the Artful Enhancements and those that have made them possible at your favorite Applegate Community park, Cantrall Buckley Park on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 from 12-4pm!

Join the Applegate Community, Ruch Outdoor Community School (ROCS), Applegate Partnership & Watershed Council, A Greater Applegate, and the Southern Oregon Songwriters Association (SOSA) to celebrate the wonderful donors and volunteers that have made improvements at the park possible. Enjoy the entertainment by SOSA and the ROCS student singers while you picnic in the park. We will celebrate the contributions provided to the park by individuals and organizations with a short presentation.

The Jacksonville Trolley will be available for tours around the park. Stations will be set up throughout the park to provide you with information about park enhancements and activities, including a tile mosaic mural, new metal art sculptures, riparian restoration, the Dragonfly Place and Applegate Outdoor School.

For the past several years, A Greater Applegate, the Applegate Partnership & Watershed Council, along with Ruch Outdoor Community School and community volunteers have been working to beautify the park, and now is the time for the community unveiling and celebration of our beautiful outdoor space. Bring a picnic lunch or grab one from a local restaurant, and join us to celebrate!
